Homecoming season was a success!
Homecoming season is finally here!
Marine Leadership Academy will be having its 2022 Homecoming dance on October 7th here at the academy, with many more fun events all coming your way beginning on September 30th!
The MLA homecoming dance is almost here.
Questions about Homecoming have been on everyone’s minds recently. When will it be? Will we have a spirit week like last year? What will the pep rally look like? Well lucky for you, I have answers to all of those questions. I was able to get in contact with the planning committee and interview the Battalion S-3, who handles planning. On October 7th, the dance will take place here at Marine Leadership Academy, Middle school from 3:30-6:00, and High school from 6:30-9:00. Not only that, but we will also be having many other fun events you won’t want to miss. From Pep Rally to Spirit week also coming in the near future, you won’t want to miss it! The pep rally will be taking place on September 30th during your 8th period. Spirit week will take place from October 3rd to October 7th.
You may be wondering why we are having our pep rally a week before our actual homecoming dance and spirit week. There was actually a very valid reason for this choice in the planning. According to Battalion S-3, “Homecoming will be on the 7th because of the two home games that are going on on the 30th. We wanted to make sure that the students participating in those sports are still able to come to the dance if they want to”.
The planning committee wants to make sure to include everyone in the homecoming fun. Homecoming will be a night you will never forget. We cannot wait to see everyone there!
