Gunnery Sergeant Cruz (Gunny) says of the Raiders,¨ It’s a training process to prepare your mind for bigger and better things. It’s not only training mentally but physically as well.¨ Gunny goes onto note that key to becoming a Raider is having a good attitude and having courage to come in to do the workouts. If you are hoping to become a Raider captain, Gunny suggests putting in lots of time and effort and having the right attitude towards others.
Looking back on their progress over the years, Gunny Cruz notes, “The program of raiders has improved itself over time, ever since the COVID-19 incident the raider team lost few of its members but has been able to build back up and become stronger team this year than ever.¨
Gunny Cruz is particularly excited for this year’s competitions stating, ¨There are outstanding young kids that are dedicated and hungry to win in the competitions.¨
